Do you think improving your English is too general as an idea for a New Year’s resolution? If so, maybe it would be better for you to break it down into some smaller, more specific resolutions.
Here are my top ten English New Year’s resolutions to help you reach your goals next year:
1. Keep a journal in English.
2. Write a blog. (Remember to leave a link in the comments here!)
3. Get up earlier to make time to practise more.
4. Learn three new words every day.
5. Volunteer as a tour guide to show English-speaking tourists around a local place of interest.
6. Become more organised. This will help you find more time to practise.
7. Take English lessons more often. Practice makes perfect!
8. Read the news in English every morning
9. Improve your health. This will have a positive effect on your concentration.
10. Start an English club. making friends to practise with will help your motivation and make you more accountable.
