Interesting English expressions and idioms

Would you like a bottle of air?

While I was browsing the news this weekend, this article on the Reuters website caught my eye. I know stress can be a serious problem for office workers but I think this sounds like a rather silly solution.

There were some interesting English expressions in this article, too. The first I spotted was ‘hand out‘. This means to give something to people for free. We can also use it as a noun like this: ‘the people were given handouts‘.

The next interesting expression I saw was ‘grassy tang‘. ‘Grassy‘ means something that smells of grass and a ‘tang‘ is a strong, sharp taste or smell.

Do you think a bottle of fresh country air would help you relax?
