Here’s something a little different for the World of Words today. I am in Malaysia on vacation at the moment, so I thought I would share a great little article about the country with you.
I love the Lonely Planet website. It doesn’t go into a lot of depth on individual countries but the overviews are inspiring and well-written. Here is a link to their article about Malaysia.
Although it is a short article, there is a lot of great words in it. Let’s have a look at them.
touts – people who try to sell you things on the streets (often illegally)
Bollywood – famous movies, usually with great music and dancing, made in India.
mind-popping – something so incredible that you can barely believe it.
